About Us

Furniture for real homes

Berch is a Texas-based operation built on years of industry experience, curating a focused catalog of furniture defined by solid construction, clean design, and long-term durability in real homes.

Who we are

Collage of various images including a cityscape, a truck, a door with a box, and interior decor for BERCH Furniture

Berch comes out of nearly a decade of working with furniture day-to-day  sourcing it, handling freight, dealing with damages, and learning which pieces actually hold up once they’re in someone’s home.

Most of what we know comes from real situations: deliveries that went well, deliveries that didn’t, materials that aged cleanly, and styles that stayed comfortable after years of use. That experience shapes every item we offer.

How we choose pieces

We say no to more items than we list. We look for:

  • Simple, sturdy construction that doesn’t feel loose or hollow.
  • Fabrics that are comfortable but not fragile or shiny in person.
  • Sizes that actually fit in apartments, townhomes, and houses.

If we wouldn’t be comfortable putting it in our own spaces, we don’t add it to the site.

How we operate

We work out of an office–warehouse setup in Texas with limited floor space. Most orders ship directly from warehouses we trust, using carriers that move bulky furniture every day.

  • Shipping to the 48 contiguous states on most items.
  • Typical lead times around 2–3 weeks, depending on the piece.
  • 30-day return window on most orders, with the process explained before anything is shipped back.

Support and communication

Support is handled by real team members via email or our contact channels, with direct assistance on fit, delivery, and post-delivery matters. Customers who prefer phone communication may request a call, and a representative will return the call within the next available business hour.

If something goes wrong with an order, we look at the situation and try to fix it in a way that feels fair for both sides.
